Hi and welcome to my blog discussing Gender and Geography that was created as part of a final project for my San Francisco State Gender and Geography class!  Throughout this blog I will be discussing ideas that were covered in class, and practices around the world that relate to gender and geography. For my blog I wanted to focus on how self image differs in other parts of the world, and how the traditional discourse of that culture has shaped women’s self image in society.
